About Cotton Cambric
Usually woven in 60s or finer counts at a lower pick density than poplin, cambric is prized for its softness and its receptiveness to dyeing and printing. It bleaches to a clean white, which is why so much of it ends up as RFD (ready for dyeing) stock.
Buyers should check GSM alongside construction — cambric spans a wide weight range, and the lightest grades behave very differently in stitching.
