About PC & CVC Yarn
PC yarn is usually polyester-majority (65:35 is standard), giving strength, dimensional stability and lower cost. CVC — chief value cotton — reverses that with cotton in the majority (60:40 or higher), giving better hand and absorbency at a higher price.
The blend ratio is the single most important thing to state in an enquiry, because it drives price, dyeing behaviour and shrinkage. A 65:35 and a 60:40 quote are not comparable.
